Triggered (2011 - 2013)
In 2011, Texas experienced the hottest summer and the seven driest months ever recorded. Against the backdrop of severe drought and rapid residential expansion, I photograph the fierce resilience of coyotes prowling around my suburban home.
Three trail cameras are used in conjunction with each other to make still images from which I make short, stop motion animations and photographic prints. The photographs are printed 30 x 40 inches and the stop motion animations are single-channel projections.
